Uploading My old PSP Tutorials

Tonight Ive been busy uploading my old tutorials for paintshop pro 9.  Its been quite a journey finding them all again and sorting them out so I dont have to hand code the images back in.  Im using 4shared to host them so you can download them all in zip files. Dont forget to read the READ me file as it gives you instructions on my terms of use and how to access the index files for each of the tuts so they display properly on your computers.

Still Continuing with Selene & Aine

Here is how far Ive gotten with week 3 of Lifebook, Bonnie Rose's Class.  Im enjoying do a digital painting. 

Stage 3 of Selene & Aine

Ive been working a little tonight on the horse for Selene & Aine digital painting.  Its been a journey this painting, so stretching my ablities, but so much fun.  I think its gonna take about another 3 nights to finish (if Im lucky lol)

Im finding the muse helping me tonight, working diligently on my Selene & Aine painting.  Im having so much fun with it and its surprising me how its turning out. I just had to share with you this next stage. lol

Digital Selene & Aine

Im working on painting Selene & Aine in paintshop pro at the moment.  Started it late last night.. Here is how its going so far.

Trying an Elf Painting

Yesterday I worked on an Elf painting in my sketchbook.  I wanted to do something with a quote from "game of thrones" by George Martin.  The quote is "Fear cuts deeper than swords".  I thought how apt that quote is and when we try something new the fear of the unknown can hold us back or even paralyse us sometimes.  

Anyway  I finished the Elf and worked on the lettering but it wasnt going as well as I was hoping, so I took the Elf into paintshop pro and doctored the lettering there till I was happier.  It is just a sketch to hold my ideas. I might do something with this later on, but I will need to work on ears lol

More Digital Art - Feb - March 2008

I took advanced paintshop pro classes in the spring of 2008 and the following work is the results from these classes.  We learned lots about vector art, brushes, cloning, cleaning up images, drawing and brush painting, uses scripts, using layers and a little animation.
